Poshter Boyz

The new movie Poshter Boyz, takes the Marathi cinema to a new different altitude. This movie touches the sensitive issue of vasectomy. It handles this subject with some laughter, some emotions and yes very much needed sense. The movie never goes off the track and always entertain the audience. It is a perfect combination of entertainment with some social message to the society.

Three innocent people of a small village in Maharashtra are falsely represented on a Vasectomy poster, hence the name.  Thier struggle to get justice for what happens to them due to the poster is the story of this movie. This image on the poster of these boys lead to various situations which are depicted very beautifully. These men then start the investigation of who put their images without prior permission on the poster. To prove their innocence they go to Health department, then the Court and finally they start protest against the government.

This movie made me cry with laughter and sentiments at the same time. In one scene we laugh a lot and next touches to heart. It is well written and the cast is also perfect. The actors have done justice to the role they are given. The music also suits to the situations and the scenes. It is a treat to marathi movie lovers.

I would give this one a 8.5/10.
